How Microsoft's Copilot Enhances User Experience with Personalized Support

Microsoft is now introducing the Copilot AI Assistant to eligible unmanaged systems that are enrolled in the Windows Insider program and are running either the Windows 10 version 22H2 Home or Windows 10 version 22H2 Pro editions.

For Windows Insider subscribers who are part of the Release Preview Channel, you can begin testing Copilot by navigating to Settings and activating the newly added option called "Get the latest updates as soon as they are available." After installing Windows 10 version 22H2 with build number 19045.3757 (KB5032278), please check for updates.

The Windows Insider team has stated that Copilot will soon be available in Windows for eligible devices within the Release Preview Channel. This rollout will be gradual, as controlled features are gradually introduced over the next few months.

Furthermore, Microsoft plans to include enterprise-managed Windows 10 version 22H2 Enterprise or Windows 10 version 22H2 Education, and Windows 10 version 22H2 Professional devices in a later rollout of Copilot.

To ensure seamless integration of Copilot across Windows 10, IT administrators are required to adhere to the provided instructions on the support page titled "Manage Copilot in Windows."

Copilot AI Assistant to Windows 10. Users now have the option to launch Copilot by simply clicking on the new icon in the Windows taskbar. This feature opens up a chat window on your desktop where you can enter your queries. And the good news is that Copilot in Windows 10 also supports voice interactions through the microphone icon in the chat window, just like its Windows 11 counterpart.

However, it's important to note that not all Copilot features are available on Windows 10 devices. Functions such as opening applications or customizing preferences will not be accessible.

Currently, the preview version of Copilot AI Assistant in Windows 10 is only available in select global markets. Initially, North America and parts of Asia and South America are the key markets for the preview. But rest assured, more markets will gradually join the rollout later on.

Finally, it's worth mentioning that the end date of support for the Windows 10 operating system remains unchanged on October 14, 2025. This information was confirmed by the company when they first announced the arrival of Copilot AI Assistant to Windows 10
