$23 million in BTC, TRX and ETH stolen from Alphapo hot wallets

Alphapo's hot wallets have reportedly been drained for an estimated $23 million on ether, tron and bitcoin.

Alphapo's hot wallets have reportedly been drained for an estimated $23 million on ether, tron and bitcoin, ZachXBT reported.

Alphapo is a crypto payments processor that processes payments for popular gambling services such as HypeDrop and Bovada.

ZachXBT reported that the stolen funds were exchanged for ether before being transferred to Avalanche and Bitcoin. It is unclear how much bitcoin was stolen from Alphapo.

According to ZachXBT, Alphapo has disabled withdrawals from its customer HypeDrop.

Alphapo has not responded to multiple requests for comment.

"Our provider is currently working to solve some recent issues from their side; they are facing problems specifically related to withdrawals of BTC, ETH, and TRX, as well as deposits for ETH and TRX," According to the project’s verified Twitter account, this was stated in multiple comments.

HypeDrop did not provide an immediate response to a comment request.
