An increase in the total losses of the Israeli army in its ground war on the Gaza Strip, which began in late October.

On Saturday, the Israeli army made an announcement regarding the loss of an Israeli soldier in the Gaza Strip. 

According to a correspondent from Sky News Arabia, the soldier was killed in the midst of battles in the central area of the Gaza Strip on Friday.

The cause of his death was attributed to being struck by an anti-tank missile.

According to The Times of Israel newspaper, the soldier's name is Dan Weidenbaum, and he is 24 years old, a sergeant in the reserve forces, and a member of Battalion 5037. This soldier's death brings the total loss of the Israeli army in its ground war on the Gaza Strip, which started in late October, to 187 dead.
