Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Hamas political bureau, expressed in a speech on Friday that Hamas is fully committed to implementing the truce agreement and ensuring its effectiveness, on the condition that the opposing party fulfills their obligations as well.

39 Palestinian detainees were released from Israeli prisons on Friday, as confirmed by Qatar. This action was taken in accordance with the truce agreement that was recently made with Hamas.

The spokesman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majed Al-Ansari, confirmed that 39 women and children who were detained in Israeli prisons were released, in implementation of the commitments of the first day of the agreement.

Al-Ansari indicated in a previous tweet on X platform that the International Red Cross had received 24 civilians who were detained in the Gaza Strip.

13 Israelis, 10 Thais, and one Filipino were freed by Hamas. Al-Ansari mentioned that some Thai citizens were released separately from the truce agreement between Israel and Hamas. He verified that the hostages who were released were leaving Gaza with the assistance of the Red Cross.
