Three Palestinians carried out an attack at the tunnel checkpoint near the city of Bethlehem in the West Bank, wounding 7 Israelis.

Today (Thursday), the Israeli police announced that three Palestinians were killed in an attack at the tunnel checkpoint near Bethlehem in the West Bank.

According to the Arab World News Agency, the attack resulted in the injury of seven Israelis.

In a statement, the Israeli police said that the security forces at the checkpoint neutralized three terrorists after they arrived in an Israeli car and opened fire on them. The police also shared a picture of firearms that were allegedly used by the attackers.

The attack resulted in varying degrees of injuries to the seven Israelis, who were subsequently transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

In a recent statement, the Israeli Ambulance Authority has reported that one of the Israeli individuals involved in the incident sustained a serious injury. 

According to a police officer, the attack was deemed to be unusual and meticulously orchestrated. 

As a precautionary measure, both police and army forces are currently conducting a comprehensive examination of the shooting site, using both ground and air surveillance, to ensure the absence of any additional armed perpetrators. 

Eli Levy, the police spokesman, further emphasized that numerous alerts regarding potential assaults on Israelis are received daily.
