Scalo Technologies leads $3.5 million investment in Dubai's Hexacore

Dubai-based mobile gaming company Hexacore has recently secured $3. 5 million in funding from a round led by Scalo Technologies, also based in Dubai.

This investment reflects the growing interest in blockchain games.

Hexacore is the creator of popular games such as Sushi Roll, Blend It 3D, and Merge Animals, which have collectively amassed over 350 million downloads.

The company plans to utilize the funding to expand its team, enhance marketing efforts, and advance its mobile game development. The report foresees a growth in the industry similar to that of the conventional gaming industry, as blockchain-based games become more comparable in terms of gameplay and game studios start allocating resources towards Web 3 strategies.

These developments will involve implementing various monetization strategies, including in-app purchases, non-fungible token collectibles (NFT), and rewarded ads.

The announcement was made on July 18th.
