At dawn on Tuesday, the Jordanian Civil Defense successfully extinguished a large fire that erupted in an oil and petroleum materials factory in the northeastern region of the country.
This prompt action prevented the spread of the flames to nearby factories and warehouses.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries in the incident. The media spokesperson for the Jordanian Public Security Directorate stated that the specialized civil defense teams worked tirelessly day and night until this morning to control the fire in the oils and petroleum materials factory located in the Dabba Plain area of Al-Mafraq Governorate in northeastern Jordan.
The teams faced significant challenges due to the nature of the burning materials, which required substantial time and effort to fully extinguish. The fire was effectively controlled and prevented from spreading to surrounding areas, factories, and warehouses.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The firefighting operations involved numerous specialized civil defense vehicles and a large team from the Mafraq Civil Defense Directorate.
They received support from the Zarqa and East Irbid Civil Defense Directorates, as well as the police and gendarmerie.
The high level of coordination among these teams greatly contributed to efficiently handling the incident and achieving a quick resolution.
