$1.2 million Chalhoub group submits to help Lebanon

Chalhoub Group, the luxury retail giant, is providing $ 1.2 million to aid Lebanon, after the devastating blast in Beirut on August 4. The Chalhoub Group has moved quickly to provide assistance as much as can be expected to meet the needs of the crisis on the ground through a variety of assets, funding and support with volunteers.
The Group will follow developing conditions with passion, ensuring that legitimate pathways are taken to determine what needs to be done in order to help the right channels that can provide the best impact. The luxurious retailer has confirmed a support and donations of more than $1.2 million to help through many projects that will be examined at each of its implementation periods.
Chalhoub group will support three stages of the emergency support plan. The main stage is immediate and rapid support for assistance projects explicitly towards health-related crisis needs such as medical and social assistance. The second stage of the group's plan is to support the restoration of buildings and infrastructure. Finally, when urgent needs are taken care of, the third stage will begin, and will be dedicated to projects to improve the development of Lebanese society, which will have a long-term effort to rebuild the force within the country.
The donations and support Chalhoub Group submits is $1.2 million to help Lebanon, CEO Patrick Chalhoub expressed with sympathetic words towards Lebanon and the Lebanese, "I stand with Lebanon and all the families impacted. I take this moment to thank all of our employees who have generously contributed to the relief program we’ve put together to stand by the Lebanese people in their time of need. We have united as one to spread hope and once again, we proved that we are part of a wonderful community."
