The third beta of Android 14 has been launched, and it seems that the update brings many new features.
The most important thing the update brings is a set of settings for the stylus, which may hint at Google's plans to get a stylus for the Pixel Tablet (or Pixel Fold).
Code inside the Beta 3 reveals that the software will be able to recognize and assign different functions to the different buttons on the pen. There is a line of code for the primary button, for the secondary and tertiary buttons, and for the tail button (the button near or on top). You'll also be able to set the program to ignore pen button presses.
Android 14 third beta allows you to launch the default Notes app using the tail button, as well as change the default app.
The expanded functionality could also indicate that Google is working on a stylus for the Pixel Tablet, which was launched, without mentioning which one, but supports USI 2.0 stylus.
